What stays the same?

For now, Enlightened Audio has exactly the same music collection as RoyaltyFreeMeditationMusic.com. Nothing more, nothing less. Our prices remain unchanged and our license terms are the same too. 

 

What’s changing right now?

From this point forward, new royalty free music releases will only be available from Enlightened Audio.

RoyaltyFreeMeditationMusic.com will remain, but very soon we will switch off the shopping cart system. In other words, it will be possible to visit the old site, listen to our existing range of music and contact us for support, but it will only be possible to purchase music from Enlightened Audio.

Why are we doing this?

The RoyaltyFreeMeditationMusic.com website was built in 2009 on a shoestring budget. Sure, it improved a lot over time, but a major overhaul was sorely needed if the site was ever to “grow up” and offer the kind of professional features that one expects in this day and age.  

 

What new features am I talking about?

Apart from the new name and the fresh new look, there are a many important new features to enjoy at Enlightened Audio.

1. Your own personal account.
When you purchase music from Enlightened Audio, you can log in and re-download it any time you want, as many times as you want. All your music purchases will be clearly laid out for you to access from the “My Music” page of your account.

Likewise, your order history and invoices will be saved in your account should you ever need to access them. These are features that were sorely lacking from RoyaltyFreeMeditationMusic.com.

2. Multiple currencies
You can now display our prices in four different currencies (with more being added in time). You'll find the currency selector at the top of your screen.

3. Automatic discounts
You no longer need to type in a coupon code to get a discount on your purchases. Discounts are applied automatically depending on the value of your shopping cart. More info on our discounts can be found here.

Please note that the any discount codes you might have used at RoyaltyFreeMeditationMusic.com are no longer needed and have thus been deactivated.

4. Improved shopping cart system
We put a lot of effort into designing a clear step by step shopping cart system that is very comfortable to use.  

5. More advanced licensing that's really user friendly
At Enlightened Audio you can purchase music on behalf of clients and easily keep track of who your music purchases are licensed to.

The process is utterly simple. When you purchase music and reach the checkout, you will be asked “Who is this music purchase for?” If not purchasing for yourself, then all you need to do is pop in the name of the person or company that the music is for. Their name will then be added to the invoice as the licensee and their name will also be listed alongside the music you purchased for them in the “My Music” section of your account.

An example of this is shown below. You can even sort your music purchases by licensee!

Some closing words from me

I’ve received so much incredible feedback since launching RoyaltyFreeMeditationMusic.com in 2009. The message that comes through time and time again is that the music I have made available is “a pearl in a sea of mediocrity” as one customer so kindly put it.

However…

Even though my music has been very well received, I’ve long felt that the website itself was a bit behind the times. And that long-winded domain name…RoyaltyFreeMeditationMusic.com… I’m probably just as tired of typing it as you are of reading it!

I wanted to take things to the next level and bring a touch of class to the service I offer you. I wanted to give you a website that is both well designed and easy to use. A website with a great personality, professional functionality and finally, a website with a domain name that doesn’t take six weeks to pronounce.

Enlightened Audio is a dream come true for me. I've put a huge amount of time and energy into its development. I hope it becomes a great source of inspiration, enjoyment and success for you.

 

What does the future hold?

I’m always bursting at the seams with creative inspiration and I have so much planned for Enlightened Audio. I’ll be focussing heavily on music for hypnotherapy. I also have some amazing chakra music projects underway and a whole raft of new meditative compositions in development. I also love creating slightly more upbeat ambient music and inspirational orchestral music too, so you can expect to see a growing collection of those styles.

Enlightened Audio will offer a very narrow range of music styles. It will focus almost entirely on music for relaxation and healing, but within that overall genre there are so many wonderful sub-niches to explore. Some days I’ll be working on angelic music, full of light and ethereal beauty. On other days I might be working with toning sounds or deep, warm meditative drones. Sometimes I’ll spend a month playing nothing but Tibetan singing bowls and crystal singing bowls (I have a great collection of both) and from time to time I'll spend a week touring the wilderness, recording nature sounds as I go. Mantra chants, Reiki music, hypnotic tribal rhythms...there's so much to explore that I’m getting excited just thinking about it (breathe Christopher, breathe).

There will never be a thousand different tracks on offer at Enlightened Audio. As the sole composer for this website there is a limit to how much I can create, especially at the relaxed pace that I approach things. But the quality will be there. The authenticity and integrity will be there. You can expect a growing collection of unique music that has been created by gentle hands, a quiet mind and a devoted heart.
